T2T, or The Two Towers LP Mud, is an online gaming and roleplaying experience based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. The game's website is http://t2tmud.org.
Immerse yourself in Tolkien's Middle-Earth during the final days of the War of the Ring. With the world on the edge of ruin and the fate of the Ringbearers unknown as they seek the Cracks of Doom, T2T allows you to enter this epic time and take part in the turmoil and chaos. Will you join the Free and fight against Sauron's war machine? Will you pledge yourself to the Dark Lord? Or will you pledge a different allegiance altogether? As Gandalf once said, all you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.
From Bree and Hobbiton to Minas Tirith and Barad-Dur, you will explore and live in lands that you read about in books and saw in the movies. Choose to be a Hobbit, or an Elf, a Dunedain like Aragorn or Dwarf from Khazad-Dum. You can choose the darker side of the War of the Ring and play an Uruk or maybe a Numenorean. A variety of professions are available to suit any playing style, from archers and warriors to rangers and bounty hunters, with flexibility to move among them if you so choose.
Explore the rich world around you, discover and solve quests that lead you to arms and armours and perhaps even amazing artifacts lost to time and memory. Meet other citizens of Arda, join a traveling party, become a member of a clan, legion, or guild.
If you have ever wanted to see just what Minas Tirith may look like if you roamed its many levels, talk to Treebeard, or investigate the depths of Moria and unearth the secrets therein, then this is your game.
