Tavern

A tavern is a building (usually within a city or town) in which one can order drinks and food for a price. Travelling to these, one can meet various interesting people that has a history of their own to tell.

When traveling throughout Arda, you will find many taverns. These are good places to order food and drink, socialize, find a place to sleep, and catch up on the latest Ardan gossips.

Not sure what to order? In most bars there is a menu or a sign that lists what the particular establishment serves. Not sure HOW to order? Simply 'order <item>', where <item> is something listed on the menu. Note that while not all bars work this way, most do.

Bartender getting too annoying? You can 'bribe' him or her to keep quiet with a small amount of gold.

All alone in the bar, but you feel like talking? Well, don't start trying to strike up a conversation with the bartender. You can 'comm on' and talk with the other barflies around Arda. 'help comm' for more.

Need a place to pass out and sleep off your drunken stupor? Many taverns have rooms for rent in the back. 'help inns' for more.
