This is a small green pack of newbie survival gear. Inside it, you find:

One big map of West Arda Some cooking gear for animal corpses A sharp knife for skinning animals

Due to the map of West Arda, you can "read map" to look at a large map of West Arda, with most of the major landmarks written on it.

The sharp knife and cooking gear can be used to skin and cook corpses of the overabundant wildlife in West Arda. First, look at a corpse to see if it is edible. If it says you can skin it, type "skin corpse". Then, cook it by typing "cook corpse". Lastly, you can eat the cooked meat. Cooked meat is much healthier for you than raw meat.
