Races

The Two Towers allows players to choose to role-play a character of any of a large number of races.

Race affects one's starting town, starting languages, eyesight, one's starting stats (which remain hidden for immersion's sake), and the way in which several NPCs and even towns around Arda react to the player's presence.

[edit] Free Races (aka FRs, Free Peoples)

Dunlending, Dunedain, Eorling, Edain, Hobbit, Dwarf, Silvan and Sindar.

Players who desire to experience life as Bilbo, Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf, Theoden, Gimli, Legolas, and most of the other principle characters of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings should select one of the Free Races available here.

[edit] Evil Races (aka ERs)

Easterling, Haradrim, Numenorean, Uruk-hai, and Variag.

These are the slaves of Sauron, who are bound to Him and serve His dark purposes.
