For many years Osse's voice helped make up the Great Song, serving many roles in the ranks of Valinor. He has now sailed on to other seas, but his spirit remains forever in the fabric of Middle-earth.

So when you hear the cry of a gull along the shore of the Great Sea, or the rumble of thunder in the distance, or a burst of hearty laughter on the wind, think of Osse, Lord of the Waves.
