Mutalator entered Arda as a sheriff, and did many great deeds in improving the lawsystem of Middle-Earth. But he fell to the lure of power, and he turned his lawful hunting of wanted players into the art of assassination. Gathering others of like mind to his side, he controlled a reign of terror. Eventually, in his vanity, he cursed the Valar above and took out his wrath on young children, killing them heedlessly. The Valar responded by casting him into the pits of Angband to suffer for eternity.
