Linkdead

Being linkdead, or disconnected, is when your character is logged on while you are not connected to the MUD. This would happen if, while you are online, something happens to your computer (power outage, internet disconnect, etc). You are not immeadiately logged off: you instead become linkdead. When a character is linkdead, it is much like being idle, you cannot be attacked or stolen from by other players. If you stay linkdead for too long, you will be automatically logged off. If you reconnect in time, then you stop being linkdead and can play as normal.
