Ithilien

Ithilien is a region and fiefdom of Gondor. The region of Ithilien is narrow land between the river Anduin in the west and the mountains of Ephel Dúath in the east. The region is then divided into North Ithilien and South Ithilien.

    Ithilien is a deserted area, due to the onslaught from the servants of Sauron, only the Rangers of Ithilien are behind to keep the servants of Sauron busy. Their base of operation is from a hidden cave named Henneth Annûn in North Ithilien.

    Widely known to be the most beautiful of Gondor's regions, this was originally Isildur's princedom; a land of pleasent woodlands, flowering meadows and many waterfalls along the swift-flowing streams working their way down from the eastern mountainwall to the river in the west.
