[edit] Legend

There are few in the land who have never heard the name Galaad. He was a mortal who lived to become a legend in his own time and who shall remain alive in the tales of his infamous deeds told around campfires by those who wish they had known him.

Galaad, in his prime, was a powerful warrior, forever bathed in the blood of the innocents he felled. He was, unquestionably, the darkest of the Sons of Ulfang's Darkhearted, a group as dedicated to evil as Ulfang's true brood, and without a doubt, the most loyal servant of Melkor.

The twisted, arcane arts Galaad employed in his servitude to Melkor kept him ageless and vital long after the grandchildren of his contemporaries had ceased to breathe, but it took a toll upon his soul. He lived a lifespan that only Iluvatar's first born, the Quendi, were meant to live and after many ages his resolve failed. He finally followed the siren's call and traveled into the Void where he awaits the day that it will be torn asunder. Then Galaad shall return as the Herald of Melkor and his Master will once again wear his iron crown with the Silmarils gleaming upon his brow.
