Category:Armour
From t2twiki
Armour is worn by players and NPCs alike. It serves to reduce damage taken in battle, and occasionally boosts skills or stats or bestows additional qualities. It is also the command used to view which pieces of armour one is already wearing.
[edit] MUD Definition
From "help armour":
Syntax: armour [verbose]
The armour command will display a list of current protect areas covered by the armour you are wearing.
If used with the "verbose" argument, armour locations with nothing on them will also be displayed. In addition, you can "set armour_verbose on" to always have the verbose method displayed.
By default, the armour command displays all auto-loading items that protect the "other" slots. If you want to suppress that behavior and have the command display only the actual armour you carry, you can "set armour_other off".
[edit] Notes
Armour can be worn in several "slots," including these major areas:
- arms
- body
- chest
- feet
- hands
- head
- jewelry1/jewelry2
- legs
- ring1/ring2
- shield
- stomach
- waist
And these uncommon or possibly non-affecting areas:
- back (occupied by backpacks)
- belt (typically a form of sheath)
- eyes (typically visors which affect light levels or eye-patches)
- shoulder1/shoulder2 (typically climbing/cooking/survival gear or sheaths)
- groin (a codpiece)
