The Barim-an-Adun was founded in the early days of ER history, but never managed to gain a foothold as one of the three major legions. The legion was recreated several times, with support ranging from anywhere between 1 and 10 members.

The legion was theme oriented, though never really saw enough success to build on this. The Barim-an-Adun (Adunaic: Lords of the West) were supposed to be a predominantly numenorean and other mannish race based group, with the intent of fighting under Sauron to lay claim to the lands of the north, and be granted dominion over a small portion of these fertile lands to be used for the rebuilding of Numenor.
